The frogs were offering all sorts of mating styles for us to laugh at so that we could keep from blushing in front of strangers.
Life on the Rocks had the elfin owl and the roadrunner. I had never seen either one of them. I told Kayleen I was surprised I hadn't seen any, and she said it wasn't surprising at all because she had seen only one in the 30 years she has lived in Tucson. The roadrunner seemed to be very interested in us as well. We understand that a wild roadrunner has been trying to feed her lizards through the wire mesh. Talk about star-crossed lovers!

Oh how cute I love all the random animals and 🦎 I am glad you are taking pictures! Any scorpions? Glad when you get home. Have fun michelle and Kevin!

Yes, in fact, we did see several types of scorpions, but I didn't think of taking pictures of them because they blended so well in the rocks. Do you remember scorpions from Texas?
