(Captions of pictures show up if you click on the picture to enlarge them.) A week ago, we moved from the foothills to a new rental that is within walking distance of downtown Tucson, which for us has a library and a YMCA that we already frequent. Kevin and I agreed before we took this trip that we are going to do no more than one thing a day. We're not going to pressure ourselves into seeing everything in a frenzy. We keep reminding ourselves that we have 60 days to do things.
On the day I took these pictures, we had walked a few blocks from our downtown rental to the the Southern Arizona Transportation Museum. The life-size statues of Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday are the highlight, as the museum didn't hold much interest for us. We took two pictures of me with the statues as well, but one makes me look pregnant and the other looks like I'm holding the barrel of the rifle like I'm holding the "barrel of a rifle." Will send my pictures upon request!
